CLAMPING RINGS
Please ensure that the rings and feet of the IKEA Antilop chair are not fouled. This can cause the retaining rings to slip, and with them footrest.
If this happens, the footrest and retaining rings must be carefully removed and the whole thing degreased, allowed to dry completely and reassembled.
CLEANING
Try to clean footrest if possible immediately after a meal, so as not to allow food residues to dry on its surface. Wood should not be soaked, scalded or washed for long periods of time under running water. This accelerates wear and tear and makes the wood rougher. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry afterwards, avoiding intensive rubbing of the lacquer surface, which can strip the protective lacquer and cause visible scratches. If it is necessary to wash the whole chair, remove the footrest to avoid soaking it under running water. When exposed to strongly coloured food, marks may remain on the surface of the footrests. The product is not a toy for children. Do not allow children to play with the included black rings.
Remove stains and dirt with a soft sponge and a solution of water and soap (30ºC) or machine wash. Do not dry clean. Do not spin dry, do not tumble dry.
We suggest that greasy stains before washing the bib in the washing machine first zap water with soap solution.
Simply wash the mat with soap and water.
Dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand washing
We recommend drying the mats after washing to remove any water droplets that may leave a visible residue on their surface.
- When exposed to strongly coloured foods, traces may remain.
Please avoid staining inks, e.g. from ballpoint pens (permanent staining remains) It is a good idea to wipe the mat after washing. Spontaneously drying water droplets can leave visible deposits. Try to clean it as soon as possible after a meal.
- Intensive cleaning and friction can cause permanent scratching and damage to the surface of the mats.
The glossy side (inside) may become matt with use of the mat.
Particular care should be taken with mechanical cuts to the mat, e.g. with a knife or fork. Such minor damage to its surface can significantly worsen over time.
- Spots from certain fruits and vegetables usually disappear spontaneously (approximately 1-3 days) or under the influence of rays of the sun (also the same is true for the colouring of the tray and seat of the IKEA Antilop chair)
The product is not a toy for children. It is a decorative element.
While we strive for the best possible match, the colour of the veneer and the proposed footstool of the same name will vary due to the different type of raw material. The natural, solid wood from which the footstools are made is characterised by its variable and unique colouring
Assembling the footrest requires attaching it to the chair's taped feet, which may affect the durability of the veneer.
It is worth taking special care to the point, where the veneer meets the fixing ring.
Over time (especially at high temperatures), the veneered leg may deform at the fixing point.
Before changing the height of the footrest, it is a good idea to moisten the feet so that the rings move more freely into position. The top fixing rings should be pushed as close as possible to the footrest, restraining it.
COVERS - CLEANING
The patterns on the fabric are printed using safety-certified inks. They do not release harmful toxins, are safe for health and are odourless. Remove stains and dirt with a soft sponge and a solution of water and soap (temperature 30ºC) Do not dry clean.
CUSHIONS - CLEANING
Do not wash the cushion without first removals all four elements fillings. Washing the pillow in its entirety will result in a partial loss of elasticity of the filling. The material from which the outer part of the cushion is made is waterproof. The prints on the material may not be resistant to intensive abrasion (do not clean them with aggressive chemicals containing solvents, stain removers and bleach)
Prints are not resistant to abrasion. Do not clean aggressive chemicals, containing solvents, stain removers and bleach.
